Thank you for your interest in GiftClix!
Have you shopped online recently? I do all the time, especially for
business-related stuff, and I make sure I use Zac's GiftClix portal to do it.
Why? Because GiftClix collects a commission on the sale, anywhere from 1% to
36%, then gives 90% to Zac.
Why would I shop any other way? It doesn't cost me a penny more to give while I
shop. Last month, my regular online purchases netted about $70 in earned
commissions, and that's just me. One person.
Instead of $70 out of pocket, my contribution cost me nothing. The merchants
paid it for me! Now, do the math: if 100 people did the same thing last month,
that $70 would be $7,000. Each month.
Online shopping accounts for $10 Billion annually in sales, and the trend is
growing. Who looks forward to running around town spending close to $4.00
a gallon for gas?
With the cost of basic necessities on the rise, even well-meaning people are
having to tighten their belt. They just don't have as much discretionary income
to give away, and non-profits are finding it more and more difficult to raise
badly-needed funds.
Still, many of these people will continue to shop online for goods and services.
GiftClix collects for organizations a commission for each purchase made at over
100 name-brand companies like Office Depot, PetSmart, Amazon.com, iTunes, Walmart,
and even West Marine; earning them a small slice of a rather large Internet commerce pie,
paid entirely by the merchant.
To do this, GiftClix will give your organization a customizable "portal" website just like Zac's.
Then, when anyone
makes a purchase using one of the store links in your website, GiftClix collects
the commission on that sale and writes your organization a check for 90% of it every
month.
That's it. No gimmicks, no minimums, no hidden charges, no monthly fees, period,
and the website is free as well. You promote your GiftClix website to your base
of supporters and contributors via your own website, newsletter, posters,
advertising, and mailing lists, then collect 90% of the commission on each sale.
The 10% we keep runs the company.
The caveat? You'll have to wait a little longer. For the moment, GiftClix is in
the development stage and, until the site becomes automated, Zac's GiftClix
remains the prototype, and only, site.
Please send your contact info to
signup@giftclix.org, and when GiftClix goes live in January, you'll receive
information on how to set up your own GiftClix website. In the meantime, please give GiftClix a try by using Zac's
portal. You'll not only be supporting Zac, but with your
feedback and suggestions, you'll be helping me to make GiftClix an exciting and
effective fund-raising tool for charities and non-profits everywhere, including
yours.
